Resistant to Mold and Mildew Growth
What is Cross Linked Polyolefin Foam
XLPE is chemically crosslinked Polyolefin foam is extremely fine closed cells foam and smooth skins on both sides.
It is light in weight, flexible, soft in touch, strong and tough in physical properties, resilient and resistant to moisture, chemicals and extreme temperature. It typically offers superior thermal stability and insulating properties improved dimensional consistency and stability over a wide range of fabrication methods and end-user’s conditions. It is easy to work in fabricating and thermoforming. XLPE foams work well in the building and construction industry where thermal insulation, sound and vibration are critical, due to its low moisture permeability and high buoyancy.
Airmaster XLPE Properties
Low Flame Spread and Toxic Smoke Emission.
Airmaster XLPE has been succesfully tested for both these criteria and achieved CLASS1 as per UL 723 and ASTM E84 standards - Standard Test Method for Surface Burning Characteristics of Building Materials
Zero water vapor permeability and low water absorption rate
Condensation control is the first challenge faced by any insulation material. Being composed of a foam with more than 90% closed cell content and a watertight alupet foil, airmaster® XLPE can be installed on ducts or pipes without any other additional water vapor barriers.
Excellent thermal efficiency
airmaster@ XLPE has a low thermal conductivity, which guarantees a high performance improvement of the installation in terms of thermal block. Combined with the excellent condensation control property. The thermal efficiency will be maintained for a long period of time.
Cross Linked Polyolefin Foam Applications

Automobile / Train Roofing
The XLPE insulation is installed under the metal roof in automobile and train roofing.

Insulated Roofing Panel
XLPE insulation is used to insulate roofing panels

Water Storage Tanks
Crosslink (XLPE) Tanks are used for the storage of liquids, chemicals, and fertilizers that require secondary containment.

HVAC Ducting & Chilled Water Plping
XLPE is widely used as an insulation material for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

Flooring
It helps maintain a stable temperature by preventing heat loss or gain through floors.

Building Envelope
XLPE insulation is used as Building Envelope in the construction industry to insulate and seal buildings.
